I am having problems with both WinPCap and WinDump. Have
installed latest versions (downloaded within last 5 days) of both programs on
a Win Vista x64 system with a Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet
adapter.

I'm currently trying to run WinDump to see what it reports
about the adapter but when I run "windump" from the command prompt I
get:

windump: PacketGetAdapterNames: The data area passed to a system
call is too sma
ll. (122)

With "windump -D" I get no response
whatever, just a new command prompt:

C:\Users\Robert
LaBayne\Downloads>windump -D

C:\Users\Robert
LaBayne\Downloads>

I'm running it from the folder where it was
downloaded. Could that be part of the problem? Do I need to move
it somewhere else? Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Randy
