Hi There, <BR>I'm trying to get windump working on my vista o/s and failing. My vista O/S version is Version 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Build 6002.<BR><br><BR>I have installed the following windump/pcap versions:<BR><br><BR>winpcap 4.1 <BR>WinDump 3.9.3<BR><br><BR>When i go to my command line and type windump i get the attached error. This corresponds to FAQ entry point 13 though checking the pcap FAQ Q28, it seems I am using a supported pcap/windump combination.<BR><br><BR>I should say that I am able to see some output (attached in txt file) from windump but only under specific conditions. These are as follows:<BR><br><BR>- right click windump.exe, select run as administrator.<BR>- turn my wireless adapter on<BR>- turn it off <BR><br><BR>I am not able to add any command line switches (for example to listen on different network adapters). I am not able to see any output when pinging a website from an additional command line window. I am not able to see any output when opening up a browser and navigating to a website.<BR><br><BR>Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.<BR><br><BR>Yours Faithfully.<BR><br><BR>Peter<br><br><BR> </body>
