[Winpcap-bugs] Freeing mismatched memory in ndisnpp.dll

Hi,

 

I would like to konw if I must consider the warning raised by Rational
Purify when I use it under windows 2000.

I loaded dynamically the winpcap library, using LoadLibrary et
GetProcAddress.

And the alert seems to raise when I call pcap_findalldevs_ex.

The explanation given by Rational Purify is the use of a free with memory
allocated with new (both in ndisnpp.dll).

There is any system problem in the NPP tools ??

The bug is raised only under Win2k (and not XP) the 3.1beta4 and it seems
that the other version too.
