sorry for the late reply.

WinPcap does not perform any "unusual" modification to the registry, it 
simply installs a new protocol driver in parallel to the TCP/IP one 
(npf.sys), plus putting some DLLs.

Do you have any personal firewall/antivirus/VPN client installed on your 
machine?
