Can you capture traffic on the same adapter using windump or wireshark?
The logs you sent me seem to indicate that the adapter is correctly listed by windump. Is the "automatic network adapter detector" part of the rokulabs sniffer? From what you say, this detector does capture packets but then it reports that it cannot find a "suitable" adapter, which is pretty weird (you need to use an adapter to detect packets).
Have a nice day

Subject: [Winpcap-bugs] Winpcap and Marvell Gigabit on Asus MB
I am using the Rokulabs Snooper software and the sniffing is not working with the onboard Marvell 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI device. The Automatic Network Adapter Detector fails to work with the Marvell adapter - I see that it is detecting packets, but then reports that it cannot find a suitable network adapter.
I updated the driver on the Marvell to 8.61.23 (11/2/2006) and still it did not work.
I am running:
WinPcap 4.0 beta 3
Windows XP (SP2)
Microsoft OneCare for firewall, anti-virus, etc.
Attached are the ouput files.
Thanks for the help!
