[Winpcap-bugs] pcap_dump_fopen missing from library

WinPcap doesn't export such function on purpose. The reason is that such function cannot be made to work reliably on Windows because of incompatibilities with the different C runtimes available on Windows. There was a specific thread on the issue back in 2005 on the tcpdump-workers mailing list:

Unfortunately I realize now that the pcap documentation (which is taken directly from the pcap MAN page on unix) references this API.

  In WpdPack version 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 the function pcap_dump_fopen is missing from the library (pcap_dump_open) is there.
