Can you please try using the tracing/debug version of packet.dll when the application hangs, and send me the generated trace file winpcap_debug.txt?

  Machine details:

   

  1.) WinpCap version: 4.0.2

  2.) See the attatched windump.txt for the windump -D output

  3.) XP SP2 Professional

  4.) Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller

   

   

  The problem is that the function call "pcap_findalldevs_ex()" works fine when called from the main application thread.  However if this function is called from any other thread, then this function call hangs, and never returns.

   

  Any ideas?
