I have discovered a (minor) bug with WINPCAP & Grisoft AVG Firewall V8...

Using wireshark and winpcap v4.0.2. With AVG FW enabled wireshark does not
see any outbound IP packets (but it does see outbound non IP packets eg ARP
requests!). Inbound packets are still captured.  Disabling the firewall
restores the visibility of outbound packets...

This seems to be an interaction between the ways that AVGFW and winpcap both
'plug into' the IP stack... so which one is actually at fault could be
debated!!!
