Hi,
I found that the WinPcap install sets the
HCLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\rpcapd Imagepath setting as
"%ProgramFiles%\WinPcap\rpcapd.exe" -d -f "%ProgramFile%\WinPcap\rpcapd.ini"
instead of "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinPcap\rpcapd.exe" -d -f
"C:\Program Files (x86)\WinPcap\rpcapd.ini" so the remote capture
packet protocol service could not start. It would be okay if the
software were installed to the C:\Program File\Winpcap directory
instead of the C:\Program File (x86)\ one, but it is pointing to one
for the start and pointing to the other for the install. :-)
I changed it and the service then could start, and then I get
TT32TEST seeming to work fine. Is there someone I should tell about
this fix?
I have attached a copy of the regedit screen and the debug text for a
bug report. The debug and regedit are before my changes that I noted above.
