[Winpcap-bugs] Problem with AT&T MTS Client

Chris,

unfortunately I'm not surprised by this. I'm not familiar with this specific client, but several of these softwares basically operate below the WinPcap capture driver (usually using an NDIS Intermediate driver), and packets are not delivered to WinPcap for capture. And unfortunately at the moment there is no workaround for this problem (also considering that we do not have such client to make tests and understand exactly what's going on).

Have a nice day

Subject: [Winpcap-bugs] Problem with AT&T MTS Client

  Hi,

I am running the AT&T network client 6.9.0.3006 with WinPcap as you will see in the txt files - The issue I am having is that when I run Wireshark or any other sniffer, including Windump, I can see the packets going out, within the VPN, but nothing comes back. I have turned off the FW software I run with the same effect. If I change to another VPN client I can capture traffic within the VPN. I have tried on older version of WinPcap and the latest Beta version with the same results. Within the AT&T client I am using the managed dual access SSL profile.

Just wondering if you have seen this before and if you have a work around.

  Thanks
