[Winpcap-bugs] Winpcap can't see SWsoft Virtual Network Adapter

Hello,

I am running a test of an application that is designed to communicate with 
internet appliances.  This application is running on a Virtual machine 
running a SWsoft Virtual Network Adapter.  I am trying to troubleshoot some 
networking issues with WireShark, but Winpcap can't seem to be able to 
find/attach to this NIC.  I have internet access through this NIC, and have 
a static IP assigned to it, but Winpcap, just can't see it.

There was a thread of exactly this problem on the Wireshark-users message 
board, from a couple years ago, but no resolution was provided.  See link
