Do you mean that you see the interface with some other WinPcap-based programs, but you don't see it with wireshark?

Actually, it's not my personal computer, it's my company's. I think that my user has admin privileges, because I normally can install any program, but there is the chance that somehing might be blocked. 
I installled some packet tracing programs yesterday and I see the interface, but I did not like them.

If you go to c:\program files\winpcap you will find a file called install.log. Can you send me that file?

Hi all,

I'm trying to capture information on an already established ppp connection in Wireshark (actually, I'm using a 3G ZTE USB modem for this), but it doesn't appear at the Interface List.  I'm using Windows XP Professional (x86).

The PPP interface doesn't show up at WinDump -D as well.  I think it might be a problem with WinPcap.  Can anyone help me please?

I'm using WinPcap 4.1.1.
