HOW DO I SPECIFY OPTIONS ETC? IS WINDUMP A SIMPLIFIED CLICK THE EXECUTABLE
ICON AFTER DOWNLOAD AND THAT'S IT? THE MANUAL GIVES YOU THE IMPRESSION THAT
YOU CAN ENTER PARAMETERS etc!!!! HOW? Where is the interface to do that??

Hallo, I have for the first time downloaded WINDUMP.EXE, I also have winpcp
3.1. (I am familiar with network monitoring and its protocols and use
ethereal for windows xp) but this WINDUMP really throws me off course. Is
there no way to specify options and filters on the windows version? Do I
have to resort to a linux OS in order to do this? and download the other
one?

On first running windump it throws up a screen and immediately begins
recording events! Please help since I am without any knowledgeable advisors
above me who can answer. Is that all there is to this programme for windows
users?? I have read the manual and read the FAQ's but the manual gives me
the impression that I can specify all those options, YET I wonder how I am
supposed to do that when windump for windows is a simple click the
executable and it defaults itself to monitoring without me being able to do
anything. PLEASE PLEASE AM I MISSING SOMETHING AND REVEALING MY TOTAL
IGNORANCE? because I am lost on this one.

I thank yo for your help, if you reply that is.....

but I will appreciate some enlightenment.

Chris.
