[Windump] cannot browse while windump is capturing

Hello----

For past several years I have had no trouble with windump or ethereal 
running and
capturing while browsing, etc. Invaluable!

However, after updating recently I found that this no longer works. 
The browser times out on
every page and, indeed, windump doesn't show that the packets were 
sent. Some other types
of traffic appear to continue, but browsing definitely does not.

This is on multiple different machines, all winXPsp2, with and 
without anti-virus, with and without
any firewall software. Adapter is Intel pro 100 ve (onboard).

The winPcap versions tried were 3.1 and 3.2a1

Windump is version is 3.9.3

Fails whether in promiscuous mode or not.
