  Subject: [Windump] query about windump

  Hii GV,
I have a query that if I am receiving tcp data through windump in a file and after that if i wants to filter it according to portnumber or hostname then how should I do it??

something like "windump -r filename "tcp port 1234" should work.

I suggest you to read the man pages of windump/tcpdump, it provides several examples on how to use windump/tcpdump.

http://www.winpcap.org/windump/docs/manual.htm

Hope it helps
GV

  Thanks in advance
  Regards
  Ashok
