[Windump] Winpcap wont install

Subject: [Windump] Winpcap wont install


I tried to install wireshark on my pc and it goes through the installation until the WinPcap installation. The installation keeps saying there is  a previous version of WinPcap running somewhere. Please shut down all application running it then continue. The problem here is I have not to my knowledge installed WinPcap on my system, it does not show up in my add remove programs list. The WinCap dll file is in my wireshark folder but that's the only place I seen it. I am running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, office 2010, creative soundblaster sound card, GTX 260 graphics card, amd quad core fx965, 8 gigs ram, dvd burner, multi card reader, belkin wireless 802.11, can you help me out?
