Even if I modify some of the inteface's settings like the BuffMinToCopy or 
BufffSize?

Yes you can.
PCAP (WinPCAP) do not alter network processes. It silently copy the 
packets transmitted on the wire for further analyzing.

I would recommend you to make a quick look at the winpcap.org for more 
info about its capabilities.
