Hi,

I am using a Huawei USB 3G modem on my laptop with Windows 7 Starter. When
I launched nmap 6.46, it reports the following error:

dnet: Failed to open device eth0
QUITTING!

Here is the output for the command "nmap --iflist":

Apparently, USB 3G modems are not supported by WinPcap.

Please refer to my thread at the nmap-dev mailing list for more details:

http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2014/q2/165

Please include support of USB 3G modems in your next release of WinPcap.

Thank you very much.

Yours sincerely,

Teo En Ming
