[Windump] my problem with wpcap

Hello:
   I am an undergraduate student and I am now working on my term project 
which involves Intrusion Dectection System on windows platform. I downloaded 
wpcap and Developer's Pack, installed wpcap and tried to run the sample 
program "basic_dump" contained in the Developer's Pack in Visual C++ 6.0. My 
problem is that when the VC try to build the sample program it reports an 
error like this:" LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 
"Iphlpapi.lib"
Error executing link.exe." Then I installed Platform SDK to make sure that 
my OS contain the file "Iphlpapi.lib" but my problem seems not to be solved 
and I encounter the same error. I red the FQAs in your website but I didn't 
find any solution. My term project will be due at the end of May, and I 
cannot go any further with this problem unsolved. I hope you can help me 
with it and I will very appreciated. Thank you!
   By the way, my OS is Windows XP with server pack 2.
