There is no recommended *network* event.  There is no guarantee that a  
connection will be opened to any particular site (the browser might  
already have a connection open to the site), or that only one  
connection will be opened (a browser might fetch advertisements or  
other items from another site, or might even open multiple connections  
to the same site).
