[Winpcap-users] Can't capture 802.11 management frame

Just to add. We also used another tool proving that the NDIS driver did send up management frames, so are kinda sure that the management frame is tossed out somewhere by winpcap in our case.

We are trying to use winpcap (packet.dll) to capture 802.11 wireless management frame, but simply can't get it. Is it because winpcap simply does not capture any management frame? Or is that because we did not use proper setting or filters when calling winpcap API? If that is the case, could somebody tell what kind of settings I should play with?

However we are able to capture 802.11 data frame successfully after association (linked up) via winpcap. The version of winpcap we are using is the latest WpdPack4.1Beta5.
